Lassi is a traditional Indian yogurt drink that is hugely popular across the subcontinent and comes in a number of different forms. Today we have for you a mango lassi which is perhaps the most well-known variant outside of Asia.

We love this combination of the energy boost and refreshment. You can enjoy it as smoothie breakfast or as a delicious dessert.

SERVES 1 – 2

  • 1 large ripe mango, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 cup natural yogurt
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes or cold water

1. Pour yogurt and ice cubes or water into the blender. 

2. Then add the rest of the ingredients: mango and ginger.

3. Blitz up thoroughly to a smooth mousse and serve.
